摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To upgrade engine heat efficiency to be attained with engine power of an actual use in a hybrid vehicle.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle 10 includes a first engine 40 connected to first rotational electric machinery 16 and second rotational electric machinery 18 via a power distribution mechanism 20, a second engine 42 directly connected to a drive axle 30, and a control unit 70 that controls the actions of the first engine 40 and second engine 42 according to a request output of the hybrid vehicle 10. When the request output of the hybrid vehicle 10 exceeds a maximum possible output of the first engine 40 and an economical mode switch is turned on, the control unit 70 drives the first engine 40 alone. When the switch is not turned on, both the first engine 40 and second engine 42 are driven. When the request output of the hybrid vehicle 10 is equal to or smaller than the maximum possible output of the first engine 40, different control is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
