<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate a recorded medium discharged in an abnormal state and a recorded medium discharged in corresponding recovery processing, from a normal sheet. <P>SOLUTION: When an abnormality such as a void, a stripe or unevenness in density which does not amount to a stop is detected, an abnormal sheet and a sheet outputted again by the recovery processing are discharged in position different from the discharged position for the normal sheet. Preferably, the abnormal sheet and the sheet outputted again are discharged in different positions (for example, respectively opposite sides a/-b crossing the discharge direction). A user can identify the normal sheet, the abnormal sheet and the sheet outputted again according to the discharge position of the sheet, and the abnormal sheet and the sheet outputted again can be easily sorted from the normal sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
