<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic translation system, capable of reviewing, when a user's requirement is not satisfied, for example, when a presented translation fee estimate exceeds a plan, setting of a translation condition to re-estimate the translation fee. <P>SOLUTION: This system comprises a data input means 1, a data output means 2, an operation means 3, a display means 4, and a translation means 6 translating an input language to the other language. This system further comprises a translation fee estimation means 7 estimating a translation fee for document data, a translation receiving processing means 8 performing translation receiving processing or the like by displaying the calculated translation fee estimation result on the display means 4 and making a user select agreement or rejection for the displayed translation fee estimation, and a control means 5 performing, when agreement is selected for the translation fee estimation, a first control for executing translation processing by the translation means 6 and outputting the translation result by the data output means 2, and performing, when rejection is selected for the translation fee estimation, a second control for executing processing different from the translation processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
