A quantum dot backlight module and a display device comprising the quantum dot backlight module. The quantum dot backlight module comprises: a reflector plate (200), a light guide plate (300) arranged above the reflector plate (200), a plurality of halftone dots (400) arranged on the upper surface of the light guide plate (300) at intervals, quantum dots (500) arranged in the halftone dots (400), and a light-emitting diode (100) arranged at the side edge of the light guide plate (300). By means of the backlight module, the utilization rate of a quantum dot material is improved, costs are reduced, and the purposes that the light-emitting diode (100) effectively dissipates heat and a wide color gamut is realized are achieved.
