PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which because a terminal device comprises the same function unit per transmission/reception function unit for accommodating a passive optical communication network, as the terminal device accommodates more passive optical communication networks, transmission/reception function units corresponding to the accommodated passive optical communication networks increase, the number of functions unnecessarily increases by the number of transmission/reception function units, and the costs of the terminal device increase.SOLUTION: A terminal device 91 according to an embodiment comprises, per passive optical communication network, an optical reception unit 111, a decoding unit 112, a distribution unit 114, and an uplink transmission timing control unit 115. In addition, the terminal device 91 according to the embodiment comprises multiplexing units 121, 122 and 123, a concentration uplink transmission timing control unit 125, and a control signal processing unit 13 that are shared among all of the passive optical communication networks.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
