This rail has a uniform generally C-shaped cross section with back wall, side walls and front wall webs wherein facing guide grooves are formed between the front and rear wall sections. A number of yokes (16,17) are provided which each have a guide arm (18), a distance arm (20) protruding at right angles at one end, and a locking arm (22) adjoining the end of the distance arm and running parallel to the guide arm. The guide arm is displaceably guided in the guide grooves of the rail and can be firmly clamped by means of a clamping screw (28) which can be screwed in the guide arm and presses against the rear wall of the rail (12,13). Two identical yokes can be clamped mirror symmetrical on the rail with their locking arms (22) pointing towards each other so that an inlet gap (24) is formed between the two locking arms with a width equal to at least double the thickness of one ski. ADVANTAGE - One standard rail and several identical but separate yokes can be used to make up the holder.
