PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select appropriate destinations and transit points to be set in a navigation system out of information including phone numbers, store them in the navigation system, and use them. SOLUTION: The navigation system comprises an input means for inputting phone number information, including phone numbers and recipient information for identifying the recipients of the telephone numbers, a selection means for acquiring or discarding the telephone number information depending on whether the telephone number information input from the input means satisfies predetermined conditions; a search means for searching a point information storage means including point information on a map of the recipients of the telephone numbers for the point information of the installation point of the telephone of a telephone number included in the acquired phone number information, and a setting means for setting the installation point as the destination.
