PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular AC generator having a claw part coupling ring, having superior vibration-proof properties, and high centrifugal-force resistant performance and reliability, at low cost. SOLUTION: A lundell-type rotor with a stationary field coil is constructed, by helically winding a nonmagnetic stainless narrow strip to be formed in a coiled shape. This enables each claw part of the lundell-type rotor with a stationary field coil, to obtain the claw part coupling ring 33 with high strength reliability, without making the manufacturing process complex, and increasing the material cost.
