PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow regenerative braking force to work in consideration of an occupant's intention.SOLUTION: A motor drive control device includes: a detection part that detects a regenerative control initiation instruction or cease instruction issued by an occupant; a control coefficient calculation part 1201 that when the detection part detects the regenerative control initiation instruction, identifies first vehicle speed upon detection, and sets a control coefficient for a target regenerative quantity to a predetermined value, that increases a value of the control coefficient if current vehicle speed is higher than the first speed and decreases the value of the control coefficient if the current vehicle speed is lower than the first vehicle speed, until the detection part detects the regenerative control cease instruction; and a control part that controls driving of a motor on the basis of the value of the control coefficient sent from the control coefficient calculation part and the target regenerative quantity. |
