PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open showcase in which a proportion of two temperature zones can be simply varied without requiring a complicated structure such as an intermediate duct.SOLUTION: The open showcase of the invention is a cold air circulation type in which the showcase inside is heat insulated by blowing off to form a cold air curtain from a cold air outlet into the front region inside the showcase. In a back panel 3a, a cold air suction holes 30, for the purpose of sucking from the opening front surface the cold air blown off from the cold air outlet 4a, are installed in a plurality of positions laterally and vertically of the back panel 3a. In the back of the back panel 3a, a branch duct 40, which guides the cold air sucked from the cold air suction hole to the upstream side of a fan 6 inside the showcase, is dividedly formed in a circulation air passage 4. By installing a shutter mechanism for freely opening/closing the cold air suction hole 4b, and by vertically varying the opening quantity of the cold air suction hole 4b with the shutting mechanism, the showcase is divided into vertically two temperature zones inside. |
