PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and easily carry out preparatory work and cleaning work of business by opening and closing a penthouse body free to open and close which is projected outward on an upper part of an opening interlocked with opening and closing of a sliding door on a vehicle for eating and drinking trade furnished with the opening to be opened and closed by the sliding door. SOLUTION: Since a large number of bars 10 forming a penthouse body 5 are in an overlapped state in the closed state of a slide door 1 and a sheet 11 spread over each of the bars 10 is also in a folded state, both of them are covered with a cover 12 installed on an upper part of the slide door 1. In the meantime, when the slide door 1 is opened, the upper end of a lever 20 for opening and closing forming a penthouse opening and closing mechanism installed on a front end part of the slide door 1 moves backward along the inside of a reel 22, both ends of which are connected to a head end and a base end on the top bar 10. Thereafter, when the lever 20 for opening and closing passes the base end of the bar 10, the lever 20 for opening and closing gradually presses the reel 22, and accordingly, it gradually extends the top bar 10 and causes the penthouse body 5 to open.
