<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of safely storing a memory card. <P>SOLUTION: An incorrect operation preventing part 2 is fitted on the inside of a front door 1 of the image forming apparatus. The inner part of the incorrect operation preventing part 2 is a cavity, and the memory card used for updating a farm ware, installation of an option soft or the like is stored in the cavity. For storing and taking out the memory card, the incorrect operation preventing part 2 screwed on the front door 1 is removed, and thereafter, the incorrect operation preventing part 2 is mounted again on the front door 1. By storing the memory card in the inner part of the incorrect operation preventing part 2 which is not usually noticeable, the memory card can be prevented from being lost and being stolen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
