PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus including a printing function which is easy to watch and is capable of meeting various requirements of users. SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus of the present invention is capable of reading images described on documents constituting a group of documents and can print page information on a plurality of recording materials separately from the images when forming the images on the plurality of recording materials. The image forming apparatus comprises: an input means for implementing sorting/setting regarding two or more small document bundles while numbering them and for constituting the document group of the relevant two or more small document bundles; and a control means which implements printing of the page information onto the recording materials together with forming the images onto the relevant recording materials.
