displaying a user interface (UI) comprising a first region and a second region, the second region within which a plurality of objects are displayed; and displaying, in the first region, at least one selected object that corresponds to a first input, from among the plurality of objects, wherein each of the plurality of objects corresponds to one from among an application stored in the device and a notification generated in the device, and wherein the at least one selected object is usable for activating at least one function from among a plurality of functions associated with the application or the notification that corresponds to the at least one selected object. |
