<p>A novel reversible hinge (10) is disclosed. The hinge (10) includes a pair of assemblies (11) and (16) connected to one another by a connecting arrangements. The connecting arrangement includes a ball component (12) in the form of a pivot pin and a socket component (13). The ball and socket components (12 and 13) are releasably mounted on one or other of the respective assembiles (11 and 16), and may be inverted to reverse the hinge operation. A hinge having the capacity for self-alignment is also disclosed.</p> |
