<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric porcelain composition for high frequency which has electric characteristics suitable to be used in a microwave region, can be fired at a low temperature and does not adversely affect the environment. <P>SOLUTION: The dielectric porcelain composition comprises BaTi<SB>4</SB>O<SB>9</SB>, ZnO, SiO<SB>2</SB>, SiO<SB>2</SB>and B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, wherein the respective mass ratios of ZnO, SiO<SB>2</SB>and BaO against the total mass of ZnO, SiO<SB>2</SB>and SiO<SB>2</SB>are within a quadrilateral area that is surrounded by a straight line which connects points A-B-C-D-A in this order in the ternary diagram of ZnO, SiO<SB>2</SB>and BaO, wherein the points consists of 50%:30%:20% (point A), 30%:50%:20% (point B), 20%:30%:50% (point C), and 45%:20%:35% (point D), and also the dielectric porcelain composition comprises, against 100 pts.mass of BaTi<SB>4</SB>O<SB>9</SB>, 15-25 pts.mass of the total of ZnO, SiO<SB>2</SB>and BaO, and 1-5 pts.mass of B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
