PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-boring type monitor capable of preventing a nozzle from being plugged during boring performed prior to soil improvement and when changing a fluid to be force-fed. SOLUTION: The self-boring type monitor has a boring bit 10 at the tip part, and a cement milk injection nozzle 18 at a side face part. The tip of the cement milk injection nozzle 18 is provided with a sealing part 19 covering the injection nozzle 18.
