<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring cap capable of measuring a liquid content in a container in an upright state after the container is inverted, pouring only the measured liquid content by inclining the container, and preventing any leakage of the liquid content from the container even if the container is carelessly toppled. <P>SOLUTION: The cap comprises a lower cap attached to a cylindrical mouth of the container, and an upper cap elastically fitted to the lower cap by a spring. The lower cap is equipped with an upper wall and an engaging inner cylinder erected on an inner edge of the upper wall. The upper cap is equipped with an upper wall, a measuring unit continuous to an inner edge of the upper wall, and an engaging cylinder hung from an undersurface of the upper wall with its inner periphery engaged with an outer periphery of the engaging inner cylinder of the lower cap. The measuring unit is equipped with a pouring cylinder, a measuring cylindrical part which is contracted from a lower end of the pouring cylinder with its outer periphery slidably inserted in the inner periphery of the engaging inner cylinder of the lower cap, and a measuring chamber continuous to a lower end of the measuring cylindrical part.
