<p>PURPOSE:To clean water to be treated without freshly contaminating the water with another org. matter by disposing the water contaminated with a hydrocarbon halide solvent so as to face an anaerobic microorganismic culture liquid via a hydrocarbon halide permeable membrane. CONSTITUTION:A hydrocarbon halide-permeable silicone rubber pipe 5 is fixed by disposing this pipe zigzag in the anaerobic microorganismic culture liquid 9 in a culture chamber 1. The liquid is kept stirred during waste water treatment so that the liquid 9 near the surface of the silicone rubber pipe 5 is refreshed at all times. The water to be treated is forcibly fed from a supply port 6 by a pump 7 and the treated water is discharged from a discharge port 8. The hydrocarbon halide solvent in the water to be treated, then, penetrates the surface of the long silicone rubber pipe 5 during the passage through the inside thereof and comes into contact with the culture liquid 9 thereon. The water is thus subjected to the decomposition by anaerobic microorganisms. The org. matter in the liquid 9 does not permeate the silicone rubber pipe 5 and, therefore, the contamination of the water to be treated with this org. matter does not arise.</p> |
