PURPOSE: To enhance the dynamic and static load capacity of a bearing device used between the cross link and yoke of a universal joint. CONSTITUTION: Two cylindrical roller bearings 3, 7 differed in diameter and acting in parallel are arranged in a cross link 1 in the partially fitted stat in the axial direction. According to this, a larger number of cylindrical roller rows 4, 8 for transmitting a circumferential force can be mounted within the area of a joint determined by the outer diameter of the joint. Further, the available space within a yoke 2 can be used in an optimum manner. |
