PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize a large sound pressure and size reduction while making good use of characteristics of low power consumption and a low cost of a piezoelectric sound generating body. SOLUTION: One end part of a piezoelectric actuator 10 which bends when applied with a voltage with a piezoelectric body 8 stuck on an elastic plate 2 is fixed to a support part 9, and a discoid diaphragm 1 is fitted to a free end part at the other end through a connection part 6 at right angles to the bending direction of the piezoelectric actuator. The piezoelectric actuator 10 is bent by applying the voltage and the displacement of the free end part of the piezoelectric actuator 10 is utilized to vibrate the diaphragm 1 fitted to the free end part, thereby generating a sound wave. This sound wave is discharged from a main body case 3 through a sound radiation hole 4. |
