<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the operating space that is needed for input of a signature by using a signature tablet also as a cursor operation means of a graphical user interface. SOLUTION: A signature tablet part 10 includes a flat tablet and inputs the absolute coordinate data at every prescribed time to a position that is designated by a finger, a pen, etc., on the tablet. A coordinate conversion part 12 derives the relative coordinate data showing the moving direction of the designated position on the tablet from the absolute coordinate data inputted by the part 10. A switching control part 14 controls the part 12 to convert the absolute coordinate data into the relative ones when the signature tablet is used for the cursor operations in a graphical user interface environment. When the relative coordinate data are outputted, a cursor display part 16 derives a new position based on the relative coordinate data and moves a cursor to the new position to display it there.</p> |
