<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the filter unit which has deodorizing and antibacterial action as well as dust removing function and is easy to operate by providing the 1st filter consisting of chemical fiber charged with electricity and the 2nd filter consisting of chemical fiber including metallic fine powder, such as copper powder. CONSTITUTION:The filter unit F is constituted in such a way that the 1st filters 1, 1 are put between the 2nd filters 2, 2 and the outer rimm 3 is welded by heat to integrate four sheets of filters into one body. In the 1st filter 1, each fiber is in polarized state and kept in semipermanent electro-charged state. Consequently, Coulomb force and induction force act to the fine particles in the air, and the fine particles are surely adsorbed. The 2nd fiber 2 has such actions that the sulfuric malodor, such as hydrogen sulfide, is deodorized by copper being conbined with sulfur, and nitrogeous malodor, such as ammonia, is deodorized by ionic bonding of carboxyl group with nitrogen compound. Moreover, copper ions deposited from the copper on the fiber have antibacterial action for germs.</p> |
