<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program reserving device in which an input operation of a reservation code is easy even when there is no function for confirming an input state (input process and result) of the reservation code of a liquid crystal display or the like in a remote controller. <P>SOLUTION: An IR light receiving part 111 receives a G code signal transmitted from the remote controller 120 whenever one button is operated. A CPU 110 outputs an input state of a G code from a TV speaker 109 as sound. For example, since numerical characters are inputted for a G code input, a sound signal corresponding to the inputted numerical characters is reproduced and outputted to a sound reproducing part 107. The sound signal is supplied to a speaker 109 through a sound control part 108 and reproduced as a sound signal.
