Provided is an exhaust device which has an increased sound deadening effect achieved by suppressing vibration and which has improved part accuracy. An expansion chamber 70 divided into a plurality of chambers is provided within a muffler 53. An exhaust pipe 51 or an inlet pipe section 80 which is in communication with the exhaust pipe 51 side is connected to one of the chambers of the expansion chamber 70. An agitation member 93 for agitating exhaust gas is provided at the downstream end of the exhaust pipe 51, at the downstream end of the inlet pipe section 80, or at the downstream ends of a first communication pipe 81 and a second communication pipe 82, the first communication pipe 81 and the second communication pipe 82 interconnecting the chambers of the expansion chamber 70. The agitation member 93 is provided with a cone section 93a tapering toward the downstream side thereof. A wave-shaped opening section 93d having a plurality of cutouts 93c formed therein is provided at the downstream edge of the cone section 93a. |
