Provided are a polarizing plate, a front panel of a display element, a display device, a touch panel substrate, a resistive touch panel, and a capacitive touch panel, the polarizing plate having a substrate, an intermediate layer, an adhesive layer, and a polarizer layer, in the stated order. The substrate includes at least a plastic film and measures 120 μm or greater in thickness. The intermediate layer is a cured layer obtained by curing of a thermally curable composition containing 0.10% by mass or more, with respect to the total solid content, of a thermally crosslinkable compound. The elastic modulus Ea of the substrate, the elastic modulus Eb of the intermediate layer, and the elastic modulus Ec of the adhesive layer satisfy expression 1: Ea > Eb > Ec. |
