PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card holder for holding a card by a holding force higher than that of a conventional one in the state that the front surface of the card is exposed. SOLUTION: In the card holder 10, the card 90W is held from front and behind by a front-side fall prevention fence 20 and rear-side fall prevention fences 14 and 15. A horizontally elongated strip-shaped wall 18 constituting the front-side fall prevention fence 20 wholly extends in a horizontal direction of a card-storing frame 11, and vertically elongated strip-shaped walls 16 constituting the front-side fall prevention fence 20 extends from the lower side to the vicinity of the upper side of the card-storing frame 11, so that the horizontally elongated strip-shaped wall 18 and the vertically elongated strip-shaped walls 16 are applied to substantially the whole of the front surface of the card 90W. The rear-side fall prevention fences 14 and 15 are disposed between the vertically elongated strip-shaped walls 16 and between the vertically elongated strip-shaped walls 16 and lateral side portions 11S of the card-storing frame 11, and extend from the lower side of the card-storing frame 11 to the vicinity of the horizontally elongated strip-shaped wall 18, so as to be applied to substantially the whole of the back surface of the card 90W.
