PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component supply device that can efficiently and surely detect the presence or absence of an electronic component in a housing portion of a component supply tape.SOLUTION: When a component supply tape 20 is fed to a component pickup position to supply an electronic component P mounted in a housing portion 21a to a component mount device, the presence or absence of the electronic component P in the housing portion 21a is determined on the basis of information from a feeding hole detector 24b and information from an electronic component detector 24a, each of the feeding hole detector and the electronic component detector being installed in a single sensor unit 11 in a feeding path at the upstream side of the component pickup position. Accordingly, the presence or absence of the electronic component P in the housing portion 21a of the component supply tape 20 can be efficiently and surely detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
