RECORDER, AND METHOD FOR REGENERATING LIQUID CONTAINING IONIC LIQUID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder which has a regenerating system that performs collection and regeneration of a liquid by using the liquid that includes an ionic liquid as a solvent component and by a simple constitution efficiently, and to provide a method for regenerating the liquid which includes the ionic liquid as the solvent component.

SOLUTION: After the liquid which includes the ionic liquid as a solvent is applied to a recording medium 1 by a recording head 3, a part of the liquid applied onto the recording medium 1 is collected by a collecting device 18. The collected liquid is regenerated by a regenerating unit 17 and supplied again to the recording head 3 to be utilized for image recording.
