The stator has a circular stator yoke (2) and stator coils (8a-8d) arranged in the yoke, where the coils are equally distributed in a circumferential direction. The coils are electrically interconnected using an interconnecting arrangement. The arrangement has a circular supporting unit (16) for the accommodation of connection conductors (18), where the unit is arranged radial to a winding body (12). The unit is fixed to the winding body in an axially loss-proof manner by a locking connection that has a radial projection (20) and a spring guide (24).
