An incoming call alarm system and method of a mobile terminal are provided to allow a user to easily recognize a message reception state of a mobile terminal in a vibration mode or a lamp mode. An HLR(Home Location Register)(40) stores information on a messenger alarm service subscriber. An MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(30) transmits alarm information with respect to a message received by a mobile terminal of a service subscriber by using the messenger alarm service subscriber information. A messenger server(50) makes an alarm about message reception to a personal computer which has been logged in by the subscriber by using the previously stored messenger alarm service information upon receiving the alarm information.
