PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-halogen crosslinkable resin composition excellent in flame retardancy and excellent in mechanical characteristics, low-temperature characteristics and electrical characteristics, to provide a crosslinked insulated electric wire and to provide a cable.SOLUTION: In one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a crosslinked insulated electric wire having a conductor 11 and an insulation layer 12 covering the periphery of the conductor 11 in which the insulation layer 12 is formed of a non-halogen crosslinkable resin composition. A metal hydroxide is mixed in an amount of 120 to 200 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of a polymer blend composed of a maleic anhydride-modified high-density polyethylene, 30-50 pts.mass of an ethylene/acrylic acid ester/maleic anhydride terpolymer, 5-20 pts.mass of an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer modified with maleic anhydride and 10-30 pts.mass of an ethylene/acrylic acid ester copolymer in the non-halogen crosslinkable resin composition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
