A plasma display panel is provided to align easily a rear panel and a front panel by forming a black matrix corresponding to a second barrier rib having wide width. A plasma display panel includes a first barrier rib(512a), a second barrier rib(512b), and a black matrix(600). The first barrier rib is used for defining sub-pixels. The second barrier rib is used for defining unit cells. Each of the unit cells is formed with the sub-pixels. The second barrier rib is wider than the first barrier. The black matrix is formed at a position corresponding to an upper part of the second barrier rib. The unit cells have the different number of sub-pixels.
