PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of rice polishing unevenness and to prevent the adhesion of bran and aleurone layers by uniformly circulating rice while preventing the adhesion of rice grains to the inner wall surfaces of a cylindrical rice polishing section 23 rotating within a bran removing hopper. SOLUTION: This grain cleaning machine has the bran removing hopper 22 which is formed with many small holes on its side wall, the cylindrical rice polishing section 23 of which the outer periphery is formed like brushes and a rotary disk 24 which covers the base surface of the bran removing hopper 22 and rotates together with the rice polishing member 23. The cylindrical inner wall cover 25 covering the inner wall surface of the rice polishing section 23 is fixed and arranged near the inner wall thereof. When the rice polishing member 23 and the rotary disk 23 rotate, the rice circulates like arrows. The rice falling to the inner side of the inner wall cover 25 is shut off by the inner wall cover 25, is dropped onto the rotary disk 24 without sticking to the inner wall of the rice polishing member 23 and is delivered to an outer peripheral direction.
