PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving control apparatus capable of enhancing luminance when the luminance of an image display falls as a result of the accumulated use thereof due to display of television data etc. SOLUTION: The driving control apparatus is equipped with: a scanning driver capable of simultaneously selecting a plurality of row wiring, and supply a scanning selection signal to the selected row wiring; a data driver which supplies a modulation signal based on image data in synchronization with the scanning selection signal to column wiring; a calculation section which calculates the value associated with the luminance deterioration of the display device; and a control circuit which controls the scanning driver so as to increase the number of the row wiring to be simultaneously selected when the cumulative value associated with the luminance deterioration calculated by the calculation section exceeds the predetermined value.
