PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of suppressing the generation of backlash in an axial direction at a tilt support part even when a load excessively larger than expected is received while enabling smooth swinging of a steering column to a car body.SOLUTION: The steering device 1 includes a housing 4 swung together with a steering column 3 during tilt adjustment, a lower bracket 52 for supporting the housing 4, a tilt bolt 70 for connecting the housing 4 to the lower bracket 52, and a tilt spacer 71 slid into contact with the lower bracket 52 and a first color member 72 during the tilt adjustment. The tilt spacer 71 has a projected part 711, the tip surface 711a of the projected part 711 is formed as a slide contact surface slid into contact with the lower bracket 52 and the first color member 72, and in the lower bracket 52 and the first color member 72, projections 722, 524 are formed which are brought into contact with a base part 710 when the projected part 711 of the tilt spacer 71 is compressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
