PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device and a communication control method, capable of reducing a time required for beam forming when transmitting information.SOLUTION: Before starting radio communication, a base station acquires weight information and stores the acquired weight information in advance, on the basis of an uplink radio signal transmitted to the own device from a mobile communication terminal of an opposite communication party, for example, an uplink radio signal from the mobile communication terminal for position registration. When starting radio communication with the opposite communication party, the base station determines the use of the acquired weight information, on determining that either the opposite communication party does not move or the moving amount of the opposite communication party is within a predetermined range from information indicative of the existence or non-existence of a position relation change, received from the opposite communication party. |
