FIELD: food-processing industry, in particular, production of snacks. ^ SUBSTANCE: according to one of versions, method involves heating stage including placing product comprising piece of bread or bread crumbs between two pressure-applying surfaces and heating said product under pressure. Snack may be also prepared by rolling said product followed by heating stage.
