A multifunction base suitable for transportation, assembling and final erection especially of a finished product, as a base and pallet of a fireplace. The multifunction base comprises a base plate (1) with elevating parts (2) on which the product is substantially ready erected, while the bas e plate has vertical poles (3) placed inside the product and reaching substantially to the upper part of the product.
