A process for efficiently and economically producing a vinylated nucleic acid by subjecting an amino-containing nucleic acid to a vinylation reaction with a vinylating agent. A method of economically and efficiently producing a vinylated nucleic acid by a method which comprises performing PCR in the presence of an amino-modified nucleotide and dNTP to thereby introduce vinyl group into the amplified PCR product, or by a method which comprises performing PCR in the presence of a vinyl-modified nucleotide and dNTP.
