<p>The present invention relates to a system and procedure for creating a location dependent identity for a mobile terminal (1) in a mobile communication network (9) by using a data adapter (2). According to the invention, a third item of information (8) needed to open the IMSI file in the subscriber identity module of the mobile terminal and verifying the user's right to use the service is calculated using a mathematical algorithm on the basis of a first item of information (4') read from the data adapter and a second item of information (7) supplied via a user interface by the user of the mobile terminal. The invention allows a safer local-subscriber type service to be provided more cost-effectively than before by means of a data adapter without a need for a separate identity or storage module in the data adapter.</p> |
