PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction estimation device which can be introduced additionally into an existent system by reading the connection relations and properties of individual installed elements out, converting the connection relations and properties into the quantities of materials, workers, or machinery and materials needed for a construction by referring to an estimation table, and displaying the data. SOLUTION: When the construction estimation device is actuated, a process means 1 displays a selection screen for construction registration and constructions. When a construction to be estimated is selected, the process means 1 retrieves the drawing image file 41 corresponding to the drawing name of the selected construction from a storage means 4. Then the drawing image file 41 is expanded and construction-related drawings are displayed on a display means 3. After the tracing of necessary elements to be installed and the input of properties as to the elements to be installed are completed, a process for construction estimation is performed. The process means 1 converts the quantities of materials, workers, machinery and materials, etc., needed for the construction by referring to the estimation table 43 and trace data 42, further estimates the cost for the construction, and displays the estimation result on the display means 3. |
