The invention relates to a thermodynamic cycle process plant comprising a circulating working medium which is compressed and expanded during operation of the plant and thus defines a high-pressure sector (1) and a low-pressure sector (2) of the plant. According to the invention, the high-pressure sector (1) and the low-pressure sector (2) are connected to one another via at least one heat pipe (3) that also holds a circulating working medium. The invention further relates to a method for reducing peak pressures and/or temperatures in a thermodynamic cycle process plant.
