PURPOSE:To improve both edge face weldability and carrying properties of a non-oriented silicon steel sheet which have been considered as properties incompatible with each other. CONSTITUTION:In a non-oriented silicon steel sheet, surface properties are imparted in such a manner that the three-dimensional surface roughness is regulated to <=0.5mum by the center face average roughness SPa and the maximum height SRmax is regulated to 0.1 to 2.0mum, furthermore, for each recessed part, the difference (SPmax-ZS) between the height ZS of the projecting part in the point S at which the cut section are ratio is smaller by 5% than that of the point P (the point at which the differential coefficient in the load curve other than the points at which the cut section area ratio is 0% or 100% is the minimum) at which the fall in the depth direction in the load curve is the largest and SRman is regulated to <=0.1mum and, moreover, the cut section area ratio in the point P satisfies 50 to 80%. In this way, the non-oriented silicon steel good in carrying properties as well as excellent in weldability can be obtd. |
