The server (21;31) can be connected to at least one vehicle-mounted radio apparatus (36). The separation between the plugs and sockets on the housing is selected to allow operation when wearing gloves. The electrical and electronic functions of the server is realized in modules integrated in an expandable housing adapted to the dimensions of a vehicle mount.
