PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of automatically closing a door portion without degrading strength and durability, in a hinge device of the refrigerator in which the door portion is rotated while moved to a refrigerator body.SOLUTION: A hinge device includes a body-side member 105 for rotatably and movably supporting a door portion, and an automatic closing mechanism I. The automatic closing mechanism I has a roller guide face 155 disposed at a side portion of the main body-side member 105, a slide portion 107 supported slidably to the door portion, a roller portion 172 mounted on the slide portion 107, and brought into contact with and separating from the roller guide face 155 by sliding of the slide portion 107, and a pressing mechanism for pressing the slide portion 107 so that the roller portion 172 is directed toward the roller guide face 155. When the door portion is in a close position, the roller portion 172 is kept into contact with the roller guide face 155, and when the door portion is opened from the close position, the roller portion 172 is rolled along the roller guide face 155.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
