PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component with a thermal fuse which is capable of reliably interrupting an electric circuit at a preset temperature and can prevent a junction part between a conductive wire and an electrode from being deteriorated, and also to provide a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A thermal fuse is composed of a hollow tube, a conductive wire which penetrates the interior of a hollow space of the hollow tube in a longitudinal direction, and electrodes which are joined to one end and the other end of the conductive wire, respectively. A mold layer surrounding the thermal fuse is formed so that parts thereof partially fill (enter into) an interior space of the hollow tube from an open surface of the hollow tube, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
