PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device for electric automobile capable of judging an irregular state of flow rate of lubricant oil to be supplied to a speed reducer and the like.SOLUTION: This drive device for electric automobile comprises an electric motor 1, a speed reducer, an oil supply mechanism and a rotation sensor Sb. The drive device for electric automobile has irregular oil supplying judgement means 55 for judging an irregular state of an oil supplying mechanism Jk. The irregular oil supplying judgement means 55 has engine speed calculation means 59 for calculating a motor speed in reference to a rotation angle detected by the rotation sensor Sb and flow rate detecting means 60 for detecting a flow rate of lubricant oil discharged from a pump of the oil supply mechanism. Further, the irregular oil supplying judgement means 55 has a judgement part 62 for judging irregular state of flow rate of lubricant oil in accordance with a prescribed standard in reference to the flow rate of the lubricant oil detected by the flow rate detecting means 60 and the motor speed calculated by the engine speed calculating means 59.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
