PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently supply the lubricating oil to the whole bearing surface in a thrust bearing. SOLUTION: A bearing surface of a half thrust bearing forming a thrust bearing is formed with oil grooves 7 with a space in the circumferential direction, and a thrust relief is formed at both ends. The bearing surface is formed with multiple oil grooves 9 communicated with the oil grooves 7 and the thrust relief. With this thrust bearing, the lubricating oil stored in the oil groove 7 and the thrust relief intrudes the multiple oil grooves 9 to be supplied to the nearly whole of the bearing surface. |
