PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire, when a guide wire is pushed in, allowing an operator to favorably feel resistance received from a narrow area and safely and smoothly delivering the guide wire to the narrow area.SOLUTION: A distal tip 30 has a tapered part 31, a diameter of which is tapered toward a distal end, and at least one recess 35 is provided at an outer peripheral surface 32 of the tapered part 31 so as to, while securing insertion facility with respect to the narrow area, increase a contact area between the distal tip 30 and the narrow area and to easily transmit information at the distal end of the guide wire 1A to an operator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
